Katingan Peatland Restoration REDD+ Project

The Katingan Restoration and Conservation Project protects and restores 149,800 hectares (370,163 acres) of peatland ecosystems. The project uses its ERC license to block others from converting the land for other uses, protecting the integrity and avoiding future emissions.

Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve Project

The project area comprises 47,237 hectares of uninhabited lowland peat swamp forest located in the province of Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. This area, rich in biodiversity, especially of the endangered Bornean orangutan, was slated by the Provincial government to be converted into four palm oil estates.
